We are always seeing celebrities relaxing on beaches and enjoying beautiful ocean waters. Most often they look fantastic and, of course, are wearing the best swimwear around. Here are some inside secrets on whose wearing what;

Super model Bar Refaeli is the the newest model for Agua Bendita.  On August 9, 2011 Refaeli was seen jumping aboard a yacht in Italy with friends and love interest Leonardo DiCaprioshe, bet she wore one of her favorite Agua Bendita bikini’s that day!

Vix is another popular brand amongst the celebrities.  Brazilian actress, Leticia Spiller, as well as, Britney Spears, Gisele Bundchen, Denise Richards and Kim Kardashian all love to slip into Vix Swimwear.  It’s no surprise this brand is so popular, each year these pieces are designed with the most stylish women in mind.

Hot Spots for Last Minute Getaways

Swimwear Do's and Don'ts

Looking your best, feeling comfortable and keeping on top of the latest fashions can be difficult to say the least. But don’t worry, All Wet Beachwear is here to help! Here are some Do’s and Don'ts we think every lady should know:

Do wear the right color suit:

Blonds look their best in pastel colors like light pink, lavender and mint green.

Brunettes will also benefit from a beautiful pastel bikini but can, if the mood strikes, wear more vivid colors like red, deep purple and orange.

Black haired beauties should consider rich wintry colors like emerald green, icy blues and luscious pinks.

Redheads do better in blues, browns, and golden yellows.

Still not sure which color suit to get? Black and white generally go with every hair color.

Don’t wear the wrong style suit for your body type:

Bandeau tops may help limit tan lines but should not be worn by busty ladies. These strapless tops can’t support a larger chest leaving the busty woman pulling up her bikini top all day and avoiding those waves.

To enhance a smaller chest try wearing a bikini top with layers of tiered ruffles.  This look will instantly add volume and give the illusion of a fuller chest. Try our Despi Cindy- Etnopop.

Do show your style with the right accessories:

Cover ups are all the rage these days! Whether you’re attending a lavish pool side event or playing around on the beach cover ups take your swimwear style to another level.

Pick the right footwear.  If you can walk across the sand in a pair of stilettos, you deserve a gold medal, but it’s still a Don’t. Instead try one of our elegant sandals or if you want that causal look we suggest the simple flip flop.

Honeymoon Prepared: From Swimsuits to Sandals

You’ve just gotten married and are ready to head to the tropics for a much anticipated honeymoon. What do you pack? Keep in mind you will be spending the majority of your days on beautiful white beaches and nights dancing under the stars. Make sure to pack the right clothes, keeping all eyes on the bride.

Most brides spend countless hours prepping to look their best for that one special day.  Don't let months of dieting, working out and grooming go to waste. Make sure to pack some sexy swimwear to show off all that hard work to your new hubby.

Swimwear

Be sure to bring several suits to fit your mood and show your new husband how stylish his bride is.  We suggest bringing at least three suits, a stunning one piece, flirty two piece and of course a sexy two piece as well.

How to care for your fabulous swimsuits?

People are always asking us how they should take care of their designer swimwear. I know the following rules are often hard to follow but try to follow as many as possible to make your designer suit last longer. They rarely fade or stretch out on me.

1. Start with a good quality swimsuit and it will last longer. Chlorine still can harm these swimsuits it will just take longer. The suit will hold its shape better and help you hold yours.

2. Wash the swimsuit by hand with a mild soap after every use.
(special swimsuit cleaners are available.) Plain water does not remove the chlorine or salt water.

3. Never wash your suit in a washing machine.
Just gently hand wash it in the sink and hang it indoors to dry. The washing machine will breakdown the lycra and ruin some of the bra cups that are sewn into many swimsuits. 

4. Never dry your swimsuit in the sun or in a dryer.
The sun and the dryer are both hard on the lycra and spandex in your suit. The sun will speed fading and both will cause the breakdown of the elastic quality of your swimwear.

5. Alternate swimsuits
Try and give your swimsuits at least 24 hours to dry before reusing. The lycra/spandex is a memory yarn. The swimsuit needs these 24 hrs to go back to its original shape. This will help stop the problem where your suit keeps getting larger.

6. Be careful where you sit, lay, and lean
Pool sides and many decks are rough so you don't slip. It may not feel rough to the touch but your suit will find it rough. It will ruin the bottoms of your suit or the front if your leaning over the edge. Take the extra second to sit or lay on a towel. Your swimsuit will last longer and you'll be happier.

7.  Laying out in the sun
When possible do your sunbathing before you swim. The combination of sun and chemicals from the water makes your suit wear out quicker. If swimming first is what you prefer and it is possible change into a dry suit to do your sunbathing.

8. Hot tubs
What can I say. Hot tubs are extremely hard on swimsuits and will destroy them quickly. The Bromine used and the extreme heat will fade and stretch your suit out faster than anything else. I have seen a swimsuit destroyed in one wearing. So when alone wear a swimsuit your tired of then clean it like I recommended above. Be sure and wash and rinse it very well to get all of the chemicals out. When in a group and looking your best is a must. Take the swimsuit off and wash it out as soon as possible after wearing.

Miami SWIM Week 2011

July is about to get a whole lot steamer. International media, celebrities, industry insiders, international fashionistas and bikini clad models are set to take over a week in Miami Beach mid-July for the 2011 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim from July 15-19.

Annually the fashion industry celebrates swimwear designs from around the world. AWB will be at hottest shows and exclusive after-parties all week - covering the guest lists, collection must-haves and everything in between.

The One Piece in You!

The weather is always warm in the Caribbean, the sun is bright and the beaches are perfect not to mention the fabulous beach parties! I am getting excited seeing all the Summer 2010 swimwear arriving in our studio, the fabulous colors, embellishments, cuts and designs. So many to choose from I feel like a kid at Christmas making a list for Santa...

There was a time when I thought one-piece swimsuits were just not that exciting. But whether it's the new styles being designed or maybe my taste has changed, I now adore the idea of a retro-glamorous one-piece. My favorite time of year is here and I can't contain my excitement! Warm weather, beautiful beaches, sparkling pools, fabulous cafe's and uber fabulous swimsuits.
