What do Selena, Ashley, Kate and Rachel all have in common? Their love of the bandeau bikini and the fact that they all looking amazing in them! The bandeau works for a variety of body shapes which is what makes it one of the more popular suit styles. For pear shapes the bandeau top helps to create a more hourglass figure and helps to even out your bottom half by drawing the attention up to the top. For hourglass figures this style of suit really helps to accentuate your curvy figure and draws attention to your slim waist. For rectangle shapes, similar to the pear, this style of suit creates the illusion of a curvy figure by drawing the eye to your top and bottom. Apples are the hardest to fit for the bandeau top as traditionally they have a larger chest with a proportionately smaller bottom half. Fret not as there are still plenty of options for you. Apples need to pay close attention when shopping for tops to find one that offers enough support to keep the girls in place. Stick to options that have side boning, underwear and removable padding so that you are always fully supported and the top is adjustable to suit your individual needs. Trend Alert: High Neck Detailing

One of the freshest trends coming down the runway right now is neck detailing. We are used to seeing all this amazing work being put on to the back but this is the first year with a big push by many designers onto the front. The most popular of all seemed to be lattice work. With intricate patterns and designs being artfully created each piece stands out from the rest. There has been no shortage of inspiration when it comes to this new way to cover up the neckline. My personal favorite from this year is this Luli Fama suit which features the neckline detailing and can be worn 2  different ways as shown above. This provides the perfect combination of style and functionality. Simply untie the top, fold over and tie around the back for strapless tanning in a flash.  This modified version of the suit looks just as good as the original by adding more dimension to this now bandeau top.
