How to Care for Your Designer Swimsuits?
Why invest in great quality swimwear if you are going to treat it poorly and only get a few wears out of it?
Follow these 6 easy care steps:
1) If you must swim in a Chlorine Pool...Ensure to frequently check your pool and hot tub's chlorine content. If it is too high, the excessive amount of chlorine can break down the spandex of the swimsuit, which will ruin the shape of your swimwear. Also, too much chlorine can accelerate fading of the fabric so spending long days in the pool are not recommended for designer suits.
2) Avoid Rough Surfaces
Sitting and/or rubbing against textured pool decks and any rough edges can ruin the smooth and luxurious texture of your swimsuit so pay close attention to surfaces.
3) Be Careful with Tanning Oils and Sunscreen
Avoid getting excess lotions and oils on your swimwear. Sunscreen, tanning oils, and cosmetics can be harmful to swimsuits because they will stain fabrics. Make sure to rinse and wash your swimwear as soon as possible if you do.
4) Rinse in Cold Water After Wearing
Rinse your swimsuits in cold water after each wear. By rinsing your suits in cold water, you will help remove the excess salt and chlorine which is an important step in the care of your swimwear.
5) Do Not Machine Wash Your Designer Bikini
Avoid washing designer bikinis in washing machines. Washing machines can ruin the shape, fabric, and padding, as well as any delicate embellishments, stones, or beading. Therefore wash your swimwear by hand in cold water. Always use a mild soap that is meant for delicate fabrics.
6) Lay Out To Dry, Avoid Direct Sunlight Which Can Cause Fading
Gently squeeze the water out of your designer bikini after washing. Be gentle and do not wring or twist your bikini, as this could ruin its shape. Do not dry your swimsuits in a dryer and do not dry it in direct sunlight.

The Many Bikinis of Rihanna
Rihanna was born and raised in Barbados, but has been entertaining the world with her chart topping music for years. She is known almost as much for her songs as she is for constantly reinventing herself and her style. Traveling the world has never stopped Rihanna from enjoying her time in the sun. Whether she is in Hawaii, France, Mexico or even her home country of Barbados, RiRi is a sun worshiping goddess who has no shortage of awe inspiring suits in her closet. One of my favorite looks that she dons is the one piece monokini! She is one of those rare people who could wear a potato sack and still look gorgeous. So imagine the damage she can do in one of these to die for one piece suits.
The common misconception is that if someone is wearing a one piece that they are probably trying to hide some of their imperfections. As the world can attest, this couldn't be further from the truth when it comes to Rihanna. THE CHALLENGE:
You are fit and trim but you are lacking the curve department.
THE SOLUTION:
Add volume (and sex appeal) with bold stripes, ties, ruffles, fringe and beading. Frillies and tie side will mimic an hourglass shape and a belt will create the illusion of curves. A bold red swimsuit or a bikini in a wild print will also achieve a more feminine overall appearance.

Whether you are tall or short with a long torso, you are still lacking in balance or proportion.

Buying a swimsuit can be a daunting process but it doesn't have to be. We hear a number of myths and misconceptions come up in the dressing room. We decided to expose a few of the biggest illusions and set the record straight.
Myth: "With a bra size D, I can never find a fashionable swimsuit that has the support I need."
There are beautiful swimsuits with proper coverage for all sizes. There are several companies that even make a triangle top that adjusts to fit up to a D cup, the Hermanny Satina Minkonos One Piece for example.

Break All the Rules this Spring Break, Just Don't Forget to Pack these Essentials
Spring Break season is upon us. If you have not prepared your get-away wardrobe, NOW is the time.
Anything can happen during a Spring Break trip so pack accordingly. Here is our list of getaway must-takes:
Be a beach babe in an itsy-bitsy bikini or a sexy cut out one piece. Pack at least 3 swimsuits because you will be wearing them everyday, you don't want to get bored and switching swimsuits will give you better tan lines. It is also a great idea to bring a variety of styles: a classic swimsuit and a flirty, fun swimsuit so you can dress to suit your mood. You should also bring at least one glam, dramatic bikini so you are prepared for a beach or pool party.
The fabulous thing about Spring Break is that there are some days you don't even need to dress, you can go from poolside to dinner by simply slipping on a chic cover-up. Pack one or two cute cover-ups to wear while you are away from the water.
