Almost Happy Hour Drink of the Day... Lava Flow

This week for our Almost Happy Hour drink, we were inspired by the Agua Bendita Bendito Totem bikini. It's bright red with a multi colored trim which reminded us of the sweet and refreshing colors of the Lava Flow. This bikini real turns up the heat and this is the perfect drink to help you stay cool!

Lava Flow Ingredients:
1 ounces light rum
2 ounces pineapple juice
6 ounces pina colada mix ( coconut cream and pineapple juice)
1 ounce strawberry puree
1 small chunk pineapple, for garnish

Blend rum, pineapple juice, and pina colada mix with 1 cup of ice. Next, take a glass and coat the inside with strawberry puree. Pour in colada blend. Finally, use a spoon to drag the strawberry puree up through the colada drink, creating a pink stripe. Garnish with a pineapple chunk, and serve.

Almost Happy Hour Drink of the Day... Bellini

We had a great week here at AWB and to celebrate our almost happy hour drink of the day is the Bellini. Nothing says celebration like a little bubbly! We chose the Bellini because we were inspired by the Enjoy Aztec Laser Triangle Bikini. So raise your glasses and make a toast, the weekend is here!

Bellini Ingredients:

• 3 ounces prosecco sparkling wine
• 2 ounces fresh white peach puree

Mix ingredients together.

Garnish: Fresh peach slice or a couple raspberries.
Glass: Serve in a champagne flute.

Almost Happy Hour Drink of the Day... Margarita

As another work week comes to an end, it is time to celebrate that the weekend is just beginning! With a long week like this one I need something reliable for my Almost Happy Hour Drink of the Day. My taste buds have been calling out for something tart yet refreshing. Inspired by PilyQ Barcelona's Caribbean Sea Zen Halter Bikini, what better way to quiet their screaming than with an old favorite, The Margarita. This tequila based beverage is the quintessential drink for relaxing under the palm trees, with you toes in the sand, and the ocean stretched out before you. Whether you're a frozen or on the rocks, salt or sugar rimmed, fill up some glasses and enjoy! 

Margarita Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 ounces tequila
• 1/2 ounce triple sec
• 1 ounce fresh lime juice

Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Shake well. Salt the rim, if desired, and pour the contents into a chilled margarita glass.

Garnish: Garnish with the lime wedge.

Glass:  Serve in a margarita glass.
