This year swimwear designers certainly brought it! We are very excited about all of the beautiful styles to choose from this season. Here are a few pieces from the 2012 collections that we can't wait to get into our closets!
Fab Fringe:
There is no question that the most coveted swimsuit of the season is the LSpace Audrey (halter) or Dolly (bandeau) Fringe Bikini. We fell for this style hard and are carrying them in just about every color and combination imaginable.
Tribal Take:
Ethnic prints, beads, earth tones, and fringe all fall into the tribal trend that is huge this season. We love this chic Fly Away bandeau from PilyQ and this gorgeous Tunisia wrap top from Ondademar.
Black + White:
A solid black swimsuit, dubbed the LBB (little black bikini), and a crisp classic white swimsuit are must haves for ever swim wardrobe. However, this season there are beautiful options for wearing black and white together. We went crazy the second we saw this Color Blocked Cream Bikini from LSpace and the new black and white striped Odette Bia from Vix.
Super Brights:
Vibrant hues of pink, coral, lime, violet and blue are showing up on handbags, jeans, shoes and you guessed it swimwear. Everyone wants to go bold and bright this summer and we don't blame them if you are hitting the beach you may as well stand out from the crowd. This lime and teal Artisan Dye Viridian Tiki Knot Bikini from Vitamin A and Le Chic Purple Bikini from LSpace will add a fresh pop of color to your beach day.

Taste Tested! Cult Favorites from the AWB Designers
LSpace Fringe
These new fringe accented bikinis from LSpace are an instant classic! We are already seeing them in the tabloids on stars like Denise Richards and Melissa Gorga and they have only been out a short time. We have a huge range of colors and prints in the bandeau style fringe top "the Dolly" as well as "the Audrey," a halter style. From rich blues, bright prints, a perky neon lemon shade to solid black and white there are pieces to achieve a variety of looks. Here are a few of our favorites:
Vix Bia Tube Bikini
The Bia is the go-to bikini for a whole list of celebrities including Halle Berry, Tyra Banks, Salma Hayek, Kim Kardashian, Megan Fox, and Brooklyn Decker. It is known as the most flattering bikini and fits up to a D cup. This season it comes in two great prints, a classic nautical stripe in black and white, the Odette Bia Tube Bikini, as well as the rich Uluwatu print in rust, pink and blue.
Despi Casablanca
If a swimsuit makes the cover of OK you know it is a big deal! Everyone loves beautiful beaded details on their bikini, it adds the luxury of jewelry to your look without you having to worry about loosing a bangle or earring in the surf. This Despi bikini has the beautifully constructed beaded straps on the top and bottom that really stand out. This season the Despi Casablanca comes in a sophisticated nude shade called Fur.

Secrets to Finding the Perfect Swimsuit
All Wet Beachwear founder Racquel Black said it today, "Bikini season is here!" And it is true this is the time of year when we are all looking for the perfect bikini for the summer. Finding your next bikini doesn't have to have to be daunting or depressing. We go to the beach or fun and relaxation so that should be the goal as we search for swimwear.
Here are some expert tips for finding a well-fitting swimsuit:
- Think of your most flattering bras and underwear. Are the tops padded? Do they have extra support? Do you prefer a boy cut bottom or one with a high cut leg? Think of your favorite lingerie and then look for those elements in your future swimsuit.
- Highlight your assets. Don't obsess about the features of your body you want to change, instead focus the attention on your most attractive features. Pair a printed or embellished top with a dark colored bottom to draw the eyes up away from the hips and thighs. Try a one piece with a deep V to show off your bust instead of your tummy.

- Use luxury detailing like beading, metal links, ruffles, and ruching strategically. Beading and metal details add a jewelry element to your swimsuit and achieves a glamorous look without having to accessorize. Ruffles add dimension to whatever area they are placed. A triangle top or bandeau with ruffle details on the cups will give the illusion of a fuller bust. Ruching is a girl's best friend. It can give you curves, it can slim you down, its fashionable and it is suitable for a range of ages and body types.

- Don't be afraid to bare a little skin. Swaddling yourself in layers of Lycra adds visual weigh to your silhouette and obscures your natural shape. Dare to try a one piece or bikini that is a little smaller than you typically wear. It may feel a little skimpy at first but you might be surprised to discover that once the initial shock wears off, it is actually quite flattering.

- Nurture your confidence. Ultimately we look our best when we feel our best. Find a swimsuit that you feel comfortable in and wear it with confidence. We are often our own worst critics so make a conscious effort to be nice to yourself. Your friends on the beach are not going to notice that bulge or this stretch mark, so why let it make you miserable? Feel beautiful, you are, and have fun!
