The Best Suit For Your Shape: Rectangle
So you think you might be a rectangle? Fret not as you are in great company. Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow, Natalie Portman and Nicole Kidman are just a few of the many celebrities who have traditional rectangle body shapes.
Rectangles generally are the same width on the top and bottom. The appearance of the rectangle comes into play as the waist is often not well defined. Defining one's waist is the best tip for all rectangles to keep in mind. By doing so it helps to create the illusion of an hourglass figure.
Look for one-piece suits that cinch or have vertical or diagonal stripes at the waist. When shopping for bikinis stick to tops that provide additional support. Unlike many other shapes rectangles can draw attention to their top section. Feel free to try florals, prints, ruffles and fringe. When it comes to the bottoms, side ties can be your best friend. They are the most flattering and their adjustability allows you to further cinch your waist as needed.
Check out THESE amazing styles and more that are perfect for rectangles!

The Best Suit for Your Shape: Pear
While a pear can be a tasty fruit it can also be a difficult to dress body shape. Not entirely sure if you're a pear? Pears are known for their larger waist, rear, and thighs. They tend to be smaller on top in the bust and shoulders and therefore give the appearance of a pear shape. The biggest challenge when dressing is trying to create balance. It is important when selecting a suit to look for pieces that draw the attention upward and enhance your chest. By doing this you can create the illusion of balance and give yourself a more hourglass figure. While being a pear can sometimes seem frustrating, knowing how to work with what you have really helps to show off the best you. Some of our favorite bikini loving celebrities are pear shaped. Keep an eye on Rihanna, Leighton Meester, Jennifer Lopez, and Rachel Bilson for inspiration, as these sexy ladies all know how to work what looks best on them.
When buying a suit it's all about the top. Look for bandeau tops as they will make you appear wider across the chest and help to create an even look. You can also try a triangle or halter top with good support. Detailing around the chest and neck also keeps the focus above the waist, so don't be afraid of ruffles, fringe, flowers, patterns etc. For the bottom you want to keep it simple. Look into solid colors and suits with adjustable fold over tops. This style allows for more or less coverage depending on your needs and helps to camouflage some of your extra junk in the trunk. Try to avoid boy short bottoms as they tend to cut into the thighs and create a wider affect.
With so many great suit options available, being a pear should never stop you from enjoying your fun in the sun!

Caviar Anyone? Nail Polish that is!
Here at All Wet Beachwear we love anything that adds a little something extra to our already great bikinis. One of the things we are most excited for is the new Ciate London Caviar Manicures. We have been patiently awaiting its arrival (well some of us have been more patient than others) and the time is finally here. So pick out your favorite combination and follow along with us. Let's get to painting!
How to Guide: 7 Steps to a Caviar Manicure
STEP 1: Ensure any old nail polish has been fully removed. Try Ciate London Nail Polish Remover. It comes in a variety of delicious chocolate flavored scents.
STEP 2: Once the old polish is removed, trim, shape, and buff your nails. Remember to wash your hands before proceeding to step 3 so that all of the remover and any debris has been removed.
STEP 3: Add a thin layer of base coat to prep your nails before adding the polish color.
STEP 4: Add one thin coat of the nail polish found in the caviar manicure kit or try one of their other amazing colors. Look for complimenting colors that work well with the sprinkles that you will be applying later. (Tip: Spread the first coat out and allow it to completely dry before applying the second. If you apply both coats too quickly it will take forever to dry and is more likely to nick.)
STEP 5: Apply the second coat of nail polish (Tip: have the caviar ready to apply as you don't want the second coat to dry). Then carefully sprinkle the caviar beads on top of each nail until fully covered.
STEP 6: Gently press down on top of the beads to set in place in the polish. Allow it to dry completely.
STEP 7: Add a top coat to seal and protect your beautiful new nails and you're good to go!
Do you love Caviar Manicures too?
If so follow us on Facebook AND Instagram for a chance to win a free Ciate London Caviar Manicure kit courtesy of All Wet Beachwear! The lucky winner will be selected on Wednesday, May 28, 2014

The Best Suits for your Shape: Hourglass
This week we are focusing on the oh so coveted hourglass shape. An hourglass represents someone whose bust and hips are about the same width, but has a waist that is significantly smaller. Famous women throughout history have made this curvy shape one to strive for. Marilyn Monroe, Kim Kardashian and even Barbie are among the many names synonymous with this body type.
Although this may be the standard of beauty that many women try to replicate, like all body shapes, hourglasses have their own set of difficulties when trying to find the perfect suit. Look for bathing suit tops that provide additional support such as triangle and halter tops with underwire. With a traditionally slim waist try a high waisted vintage inspired bottom. By keeping the bikini bottoms high-cut it will help to make your legs look longer as well. If a one-piece is more your style keep the bottom high-cut as you would in a bikini and look for a halter with a deep V for a sexy, flattering fit. Avoid boyshort bottoms and bandeau tops as they will make you look wider in these areas.
Stick with these easy to follow tips and you will look fabulous this summer!

Although she always seems to be busy working, she takes time out of her hectic schedule to relax and enjoy a little fun in the sun. Selena certainly knows what works for her, and her go to swimsuit style is the Bandeau Bikini. With her small straight frame this is the perfect suit to flatter her body. In addition, she sticks with bright, bold colors which compliment her skin tone. What's your go to bikini style?

The Best Suits for your Shape: Apple
Apples are generally known for carrying the bulk of their weight in their chest and mid section. This is defined as your waist being wider than your hips and usually about as wide as your bust. This rounded upper body is what gives this body type the apple shape. Some of our favorite celebrities fall into this body shape such as Elizabeth Hurley, Jessica Simpson, and Tyra Banks.
The same challenges that apply when finding clothes to fit your shape also occur when trying to find your perfect bathing suit. With a few quick tips you can easily hide your problem areas and accentuate the positives. The best advice for all Apples is to enhance the chest and legs and try to minimize the midsection. The best way to down play your belly is by trying a one-piece suit with ruching along the midsection or center to give the illusion of a longer, slimmer torso. If bikinis are your preference look for bottoms with adjustable bands across the waist to help avoid muffin tops. Try deep v-cut tops such as halters and triangles which help flatter and support a larger bust while drawing the eyes attention away from your midsection. Also look to higher cut bottoms that help elongate your slim legs. Being an Apple shape should never stop you from looking your best. With these quick and easy tips finding the perfect suit for you is just a click away!

Bikini Outfit of the Day!
Our bikini outfit of the day was inspired by a day at sea. Whether you're out on your boat, a friend's, or renting while on vacation, this is the perfect outfit for boating fun. We starting out with this great Palm Strings Sirena Wrap Bikini from Vitamin A. This wrap around style provides great support which makes this an ideal suit for water activities as well as lounging around on deck. We paired this bikini with khaki shorts and a white cropped tank to give a cute, carefree look while docked on shore for lunch! The addition of this open crochet navy cardigan provides just enough warmth to keep you comfortable in the late afternoon as the sun sets and the wind starts cooling everything down. To finish off our look we added a delicate gold necklace, a pair of boat shoes, and Ciate London's Boudoir red nail polish to add a pop of color. With our outfit complete we are finally ready to set sail!
